GENERAL TREATMENT
In many cases the skill of our Practitioners and the equipment we have available enables us to remove slivers of nail during a normal session and charge. In addition we can help to retrain the nail to prevent future in-growing and provide the Patient with the necessary advice to ensure future cutting of the nails helps to prevent the problem reoccurring. In more painful instances or with children we can administer a small local anaesthetic into the toe to aid pain free treatment.
FULL NAIL SURGERY
In more severe instances it may be necessary to carry out a minor surgical procedure to remove the offending part of the nail. Carried out under local anaesthetic the procedure in most cases requires only the smallest part of the edge of the nail being removed. We then treat the root to ensure re-growth does not bring back the problem. This procedure gives the minimum of disruption to the Patient and normally effects a permanent cure. The procedure is suitable for Patients of all ages including children and healing rates are rapid.

HEALING AND AFTER CARE
To ensure rapid healing we provide three FREE re-dressings in the days following the procedure. In addition the Patient has the option of receiving enhanced healing rates by our Medical Lasers.
